The purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings when Lamplight’s products and offerings might seem similar to submissions made by you. If you make a submission, it must be made using this form and under following terms and conditions. To avoid potential misunderstandings, Lamplight will not review or consider unsolicited ideas under any other conditions. You agree, regardless of any contrary statements in your submission, that: (1) Your patent rights are the only rights you can rely upon to protect your idea. You agree to rely solely on your patent rights as established under U.S. and/or any foreign laws to protect any proprietary information you submit. You understand that you may risk impairing or losing the ability to protect your patent rights under applicable law if you have not adequately protected them at or before the time of your submission. You disclaim, waive, and hereby surrender any intellectual property rights for any submission and content you make available without securing protection. (2) Your submissions and of its content are NOT CONFIDENTIAL, and there is no obligation to treat as proprietary or confidential. (3) Lamplight has no obligation to review, consider, respond, return or take any further action on your submission or its content. (4) You consent for the use of any information, including personal information, you provide to manage and process your submission, including the giving it to another party. By using this invention submission form / website, you (the “user” or “you”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms of Service” or the "Agreement"). Before you may submit any invention information, you must read and accept all the terms and conditions in the Agreement. This Agreement is effective upon acceptance for new users and terms and conditions may be updated from time to time without notice to user. You hereby acknowledge: I acknowledge that I am the owner of the invention information and am authorized to submit to company. I acknowledge that the disclosure is being made on a NON CONFIDENTIAL basis, and that no confidentiality obligations or legal relationships whatsoever are created by this invention submission. I acknowledge that I am free to make this submission and that by doing so I am not infringing any prior obligation of confidentiality. I acknowledge that company may contact me for additional information and/or samples/prototypes if applicable. I acknowledge that company may already be independently working on a similar technology as covered by my submission and that I will not therefore assert any intellectual property rights against company in this respect. |
